Exhibition !!!!

The 0nineHUNDRED have a group show Called D.I.Y or DIE inside Norwich University College of the Arts running from 29th-3rd Dec with a zine sale on the Thursday 2nd of Dec. The top poster is done by myself next one is Liam Clark, next is Rob Freimuller and the bottom is a flyer also done by Liam Clark. Photos and videos will be up of the show after is over.

A Good Lecture

Today was a wicked day as i got to sit in on a illustration lecture with one of my favourite artist Gemma Correll. she spoke about how she got to where she is now and gave to amazing advise to help as well. it was very inspiring to hear first hand how well she has done and that she lives in Norwich and that she has pretty much "made it". here is links to her blogs, website etc.

After Party/ Drawing

After a very rad private view with some wicked chilled vibes we headed down stairs to party the night away "in the club" many people came through the door and got very jolly and it was a very successfully night and fun was had by all. Also me and artist Liam Clark had a massive drawing session from 10.30 to 1.30 in the morning here is what we produced.

WOW crazy week

so this week has been amazingly crazy. Where do i start. Well me and 1 team member of the 0nineHUNDRED Liam Clark were ask to curate and install an exhibition of are good friend and the boss man of Shhhh clothing Sam Harrons. It was not in the usually white cube environment so it was a challenge. The exhibition took place in the up stairs room of Knowwhere bar in Norwich and it kicked of the 11Mouth project that shhhh clothing is embarking on. this project will run for 11 mouth with 11 different artist with 1 mouth each to create work and a run of new t shirt with an exhibition to end each mouth. I think this is an amazing idea and backing it all the way. So for 11 mouth shhhh clothing is going to be in your face and your not going to be able to get way it. So here is some pictures of us hanging the show as well as the private view!!!!!

Coming together

Things are really starting to get going now. Work for the exhibition is getting done and it all look so good and got some big ideas for the private view. More current ideas are moving and developing well and i am feeling very inspired at the moment and all i want to do is create work but sleep is getting in the way. The t shirts are doing well and starting to get a little hype around them so i am going to keep pushing them out and start getting them over more peoples heads which can only be good thing at the moment i am only selling them face to face but soon i will do a run of them and they will be available at my one line shop

T shirt

I went to the printers to do a tester of one of my T shirts and I have to say it went very well. So in the very near future there will be a small run of T shirts for sale on the shop and maybe some more little surprises. WATCH THIS SPACE !!!!

From Moniker Art Fair I feel so motivated and inspired to make lots of new work. So I have doing lots of painting in my studio and lots of drawing. I have found my self drawing lots of images about old trains and things about them. I think this has come from me traveling here there and everywhere on the train and this is one of those phases my practise seems to do again all in a era I feel I have nostalgia for. I also have big news that the 0nineHUNDRED have got the dates for our exhibition. It will be taking place on the 29th November - 3rd December but more details nearer the time.

Moniker Art Fair

On the 14th of October the OnineHUNDRED and becci illustration went down for the opening night of Moniker Art fair. We were all super excited because some of are favorite artist such as Steven Powers had work spaces specially for the fair. Also gallery's such as New Image Art and the Black Rat Projects were there who represent some of my favourite artist such Barry Mcgee, Banksy, AAron Rose Shepard Fairey and many more. I was so happy to see in real life real pieces of work by Barry Mcgee, Shepard Fairey, and Steven Powers. It was superultramindblowing and feel so inspired and it was the best evening of my life.

Steven Powers

This is Steven Powers work space for Moniker Art fair. I am so stoked that I final go to see in real life some of his work. He is one of my favourite artist of all time and feel so inspired by this I cant wait to get back in the studio !!!! Also here is some photos of this work he did to be hung in the art fair.

Ben Eine

We went back to see the finish work by Eine and it look amazing. Also here is his work he did for Moniker art fair inside and out.

London

On the 9th/10th myself and Becci Atkinson illustration had a trip down to London to catch up on some gallery's and to meet up with the 717 illustration collective. Just being back in London and soaking up the atmosphere was inspiring and gave me lots of new ideas for work. There was some cool new street art up with some good new weat pastes posters. We went to stolen space gallery which had new work by word to mother. Only had a quick look round because we are going back on the 14th with the whole of the 0nineHUNDRED and again with becci illustration. We are heading back from the private view of the MONIKER art fair but more about that after we have been. On are travels we came across one of the favourite artist working on a new peice. Ben Eine was spray painting another wall in this amazing style. I got some good pictures of him working also some photos of during the day.
